well i jsut boguht the 6212 wavebox for a upcomming 320g build, but i couldn't resist but to try it out on my 75g qt tank. The tank is empty wiht no rocks and i took out all the power heads. The water level is up to the line on the wavebox (tried different water levels as well)and about 2-3inches from the rim of the tank. I read a couple of threads already and installed those screws on the back but i'm not getting huge waves in a 75g tank? jsut giving me doubts on how it would hold up in my 320g. I tried the tweaking method but the most i can get is about a wave less than an inch which is also not even consistent. been playing wiht it for a ocuple of hours please help!! is the wavebox too much for the 75g? could my wavebox be faulty? please help me thanks!!

What is the dimension of your 75g? 48" is too short for a regular size wavebox. You will get some wave at faster pulse but nothing like 6-8 foot tank. Your wavebox work fine just need a little fine tuning on the controller. If you crank it up and down too fast, you will never get the right frequency. Once you have the 320g ready, send me a PM or post in here and i will help you dial in your wavebox.
