wave box

I just bought a wave box and noticed in the instruction manual that it's supposed to be placed in a corner. This is going into my existing 120 gal. reef tank. I don't have a rear corner open and I really don't want it in the very front of the tank. Is there any issues with having it in the middle of a side pain?

No issue at all, just most people prefer the corner. It is fairly important though that in line from the outlet of the wavebox to the other end of the tank there are no obstacles.
