wave maker

Hi Roger and Merry Christmas. I have a oceanic 220 and am looking into the wave maker. I do not like the size of the original wave maker and do not like how it mounts. I have my tank in a canopy and it would appear that if I get this one i will not be able to mount on the side.
Do you think I could use the nano wavebox and get some wave/movement. I am already running two turbelle streams 6105 and just need to supplement. Also I may just benefit from a third powerhead but really wanted to get the overall undertow etc of the wave. Your input would be most helpful.
Thanks

I think the full size wavebox is the way to go. The effect would be minimal with nano on that footprint. The new 6212 wavebox's are now shipping with magnets attached, and even the older ones could have them added so a standard canopy should have no effect unless you mean the side is inaccessible.
