Love my RedSea ReefWave 45's on the back wall. I have Maxspect gyres in another tank, but greatly prefer the RedSea.

Why do you prefer the Red Sea?

They are more quiet, much easier to disassemble\reassemble and seem a bit better in quality. The only thing I like better about the Maxspect is that you can run two gyres with one controller.

Can someone explain to me why so many different names like the slow series or the mlw series and there are so many different ones I can’t understand why does anyone even know what the difference is and can you explain it to us please

No idea. Every time they change their design even slightly, they change the model number. IME, they are pretty much identical as long as the numbers are the same ex. slw25, same as mlw25

While I don’t know for certain which models are which, I know some they added wifi to as well
