Wavebox 6212 on a 120g?

I have a 120 gallon tank (4x2x4) with corner overflows and wanted to know if the Tunze Wavebox 6212 would work on it?

I was told the corner overflows might be a problem, so I'm going to extend a piece of acrylic across the back of the tank from one corner overflow to the other to create one long oveflow.

Please let me know if you think this would work or what problems I might encounter with a Wavebox on a tank this short.

Thanks.

You will get at least 1.5" of wave speaking from experience :D . As for the corner overflow you will be fine if you raise the durso pipe up a bit.

BTW, 4x2x4 is 240g :D

You may encounter the bulkiness of the wavebox in your tank other than that you will be fine... You don't need add any acrylic in your tank. Just raise your durso pipe...

oops, that's a typo. Its a 120 (4'l x 2'w x 2'h).

How much noise can I expect from the wavebox? Especially the sloshing of water over the two corner overflows?

If you raise the durso pipe higher, it will fix the noise.... If not, ewwww it is going to be LOUD... Make sure the intake of your durso pipe slightly higher then the bottom of your overflow teeth. That will do the trict...
