as the subject says one time each morning the wave box makes a chirping sound. I took it all apart last night and it looked clean. I cleaned everything and put it back together and this morning same thing. any suggestion for me?
Does it have the older style drive unit? How old is the pump? Have you checked the upper bearing and the hole in the center of the magnet per the cleaning thread at the top of the forum?
not sure what drive unit it has(how do i find out)The wavebox is about 1 year old. I did follow the cleaning directions and the bearing and the hole were clear
Take the bearing shell and shaft off and clean the area under the shaft where the brake shoes are. The problem you describe sounds like the brake shoes are dragging calcium build up in this area will cause that.
roger I cleaned that area well and the same thing is happening. I did notice the brake shoe looks like it has a little chip broken off the outside surface. Could this be the cause?
