Wavebox and elbow..Will it work?

I have an opportunity to redo my aquascaping coming up this weekend and wanted to possibly hide the wavebox somehow.

This is a top view of the setup that I'm looking to implement - Only if it works -

What do you guys think?

Like I said, I could re-arrange my rockwork any which way.

You would lose so much flow it would barely work, the stream pumps are not rated for head pressure and you add a foot of head with an elbow. Essentially you will cut the performance in half or worse.
