Wavebox and overflow quandry

Hi,
I am considering getting a (I would only need 1, correct?) tunze wavebox for a future tank, which will be around 230 gallons.

My question is regarding the overflow. I would like to minimize sound, so I figured the best place to put the overflow would be in the center of the tank, where the water level changes the least. However, this tank is going to be visible from 3 sides, so that's not really an option.

My current Idea is to have a full-width overflow on the end of the tank that is hidden, and attach the wavebox to that overflow. (Then I could hide everything from view with some wood trim)

Would this work? What is the best way to minimize the noise? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

It would work but it would be the noisiest, shortest wave option. Not ideal by any means. I would probably redesign things so you can accomodate the center overflow. For noise, a durso pipe is the best solution but there will still be some.

Ok thanks. When you say center overflow, do you mean in the middle of the center of the tank, or against a wall in the center of the tank?

TIA
