Wavebox and reduced protein skimming...

After installing my Wavebox last night, I noticed that I get no protein skimming from my EV240...

Possibly from fluctuating water level in the sump. Mine does the same thing. But it still skimms. Could cause the skimmer pump to draw slower?Or faster then slower.

it could be the residue on the wavebox itself

i have an AquaC EV 240 in sump the wavebox increased the skimmers daily output

The water level in the sump has not changed.

It probably increased the load of particulate and fatty material and the skimmer will have to work in again.
