Wavebox and Stream Synchronous Operation

Roger,

I have 4 Turbelle Stream 6100's running in my tank right now with a 7094 Multicontroller. My tank is 96" long, 24 inches wide and 30 inches high. Right now the Streams are running in pairs. One pair is on the left side of the tank and the other is on the right side of the tank. They are being run in pulsed mode and also interval mode. The interval is set very low so that the left side pumps turn on and pulse for 6 pulses and then the right side pumps pulse for 6 pulses, etc, etc. The light sensor ensures that the pumps run at the low setting at night without pulsing.

First, how does the synchronized Wavebox method work? Since the Wavebox pump has to run at a particular on/off frequency, it seems that in general it would have a different on/off frequency than the Stream pumps. In synchronized operation do the Streams and the Wavebox pulse at the same frequency OR if not what does synchronous operation mean? Does synchronous operation only pertain to the interval setting ?

With 4 Streams, all ports on the Multicontroller are being used currently with no room for the Wavebox master/slave cable. Can I plug in the wavebox using a "Y" connector? If so, what is the part number ?

Would it be better for me to run the wavebox independently from the 4 Streams or is synchronized operation better ?

Any other suggestions to maximize the performance of the 4 Streams and the Wavebox would be appreciated.

Thanks!

All you do by connecting the wavebox is it shares the night mode and the interval one operation will shut it off when the sockets of interval 1 are off. If you want to do this the branch adapter is part 7092.34.
