wavebox and streams

Roger, going to set up a 54x32x24, peninsula tank. I have 3 6100's and multi controler, and a wavebox. I know you didn't like the peninsula idea but how would you suggest setting up the pumps and wavebox. No canopy so they would all have to be on one end of the tank. Do you think I'll need the wavebox extension? Going to have a dsb and a couple of returns plumbed under the sand to the rock work, to keep them from trapping too much junk.
Since the wall end of the tank is one big overflow, I can see from other threads that the wavebox may not work with this set up.

The wavebox will work it just could be somewhat noisy and it is less than ideal in terms of wave height to have an end overflow. I think you overbought on flow, 2 6100 should be more than plenty, in fact I think you will have trouble even then with keeping a DSB in place. In my opinion the best solution would be to install 2 6000, one on each end with the one on the visible end hidden in a Stream Rock, add the wavebox and you should be in good shape.
