Wavebox causing tanks to fall over

Hello I am not sure how much truth there is, but I was in a LFS and am in the process of getting a standard 210 (6foot) and was going to get a wavebox, but while I was in the store one of the members ask me about what stand I got and I told him just a normal perfecto ( I believe ) wood stand and then this person mentioned that this would not be a good stand as the wavebox needs to have an aquarium that has a reinforced stand to handle what the wavebox does and that he has had a few people who have hooked these up and after some time had there tank come crashing down due to the stand not being reinforce. Now is this something that is mentioned in the docmentation, I have do lots of research on waveboxes but have never heard this before. The stand I am getting is design for this tank but I guess the rocking motion that a wavebox can cause is something to be concerned about. Has this been mention before or is there some recomendations you can make, Thanks.

I would think if someones tank came crashing down it would be all over the internet. I doubt that ever happened. You need a good solid stand. Of coarse oak stands will be the best commercially available in terms of strength. The more likely scenario is that a seam would fail becuase of uneven weight distribution or added stress from a poorly buil stand, the wavebox on a 210 would be shifting about 30lbs side to side, in the big picture seeing as I've seen people pull up their own body weight on a large tank that is not very much, it would be a long term stress and not something that should cause an acute failure.
