wavebox connected 7094 in night mode.

Hi Roger,
Need your help with this setup, I have a wavebox and 2x 6100 connected to the 7094 controller with a photo cell attached, I am bit puzzled by the fact that the 7094 still switch between channel 1 and 2 during the night at reduced power.
I thought that when photo cell is connected to 7094, only the Channel 1 operates. Does the wavebox controller also need it's own photo cell connected in order to have it off during the night.

Yes, the wavebox needs in own photocell. What mode are you using?

I am using 6 hour on and off just like what the manual suggested, alternating with one of the 6100s on the opposite side, should the wavebox be on channel 1 instead of 2 for the calmer effect, since channel 2 is on after night fall.

The wavebox cannot be calmed, it can just be turned off the adjustments on the multicontroller have no effect on it. The only thing the multicontroller can do is turn it off for periods of the day in Tide mode. To turn it off at night you use the photocell on it's own controller.

Just out of curiosity, did you remember to change the jumper in the 6091 controller to extern?

Yes, I did set the jumper to extern. I think the photo cell on the wavebox is much more sensitive than the one on the 7094, a little bit of ambien light will turn the wavebox to activated position vs. the multicontroler which requires a senser located directly underneath the light field.
