wavebox for smaller tanks?

It will work on a 3ft tank, because of how it works a smaller tank makes a smaller wave. I wouldn't recommend it for anything under 3ft though it is supposed to work on 30" tanks as well. If anything we will make a bigger one for zoos.

rodger,

At the risk of hikacking this thread what is the minimum wave height that would be created in a 5 footer?

Reason I ask is that I only have about 2-3 cm before the tank would overflow but I really like the look of the wave box in action.

I am just worried I would get it only to find that even at it's lowest setting it still causes an overflow.

Does Tunze make a powerhead that would be appropriate for a 37G cube tank? I thought I saw a picture of a small compact Tunze head.

They aren't exactly compact but a 7200/2 would be the right size pump, they are about the size of a Hagen 802.

Rodger,

Just wanted to piggy back ontop of this thread to ask another wavebox related question.

How is the size of the wave controlled?

Also is there any source of the manuals for it in pdf or the like? I would like to read through the manual to understand it better before commiting to buying one.

Thanks

Anthony

PM me an email address, I can send you a manual in PDF format. The driver adjustment controls wave height.
