Wavebox HELP!!!

I am in the middle of aquascaping and I am wondering what kind of rock/coral placement effect the wavebox. I know it is supposed to have a 'clear path' from one side of the tank to the other, but does that include the LOWER half of the tank? In other words, does the tank have to have NO rock and NO coral on the bottom half of the front half of the tank? I hope that isn't confusing...

PLEASE HELP ASAP!

You will be fine with the coral or rock in the bottom. It doesn't have to be empty for the wave box to be able to work....

Now I'm back to not being able to create a wave...

I had this problem when trying to play with it about a month ago, but I thought there was live rock in the way. Now the aquascaping is done and I'd like to use this expensive piece of my equipment list. lol I guess where I'm lost is, which of the two white knobs am I turning to adjust the wave creation? The one on the controller box or the one on the little box? Where should each knob be at the START?

Sir,

You should only adjust the white knob on your wave controller. Turn the white knob on your controller counter clockwise till it stop. Slowly adjust the knob clockwise a little bit at the time. Everytime you make the adjustment, stop, observe for 30 sec -1 min then make another adjustment if necessary.

The little white knob attached to your pump should be at max. Turn the knob clockwise as you are looking at it...
