Wavebox in a corner

Is it possible to have a wavebox in the back of the tank instead of the side.
I have a AquaMedic percula 90 tank and have a place over at the back.
So is it possible to put a 90 PVC pipe to the wavebox and get the same wave effects??

Se my picture

I am not sure but I can tell you with the low pressure flow of the pump an elbow will greatly reduce the performance so the wave would be very small if it worked.

I seen a wavebox in a LFS on a 180G tank, he had the box in the back righthand corner without any elbows or anything and got a pretty impressive wave. He did howevre have a stream on the other end of the tank.

Whats your thought about this?

It will not work very well, the 90 degree elbow will greatly reduce the flow, the added head pressure is too much.
