wavebox info please help

i put in my tank and was hoping to put it all the way to the bottom on the right rear of my tank

can i do that or do i have to haver the water level equal with the blue (sqiggly) line on the top (next to were it says tunze)


i have it in the front of the tank to see how much water it moves.

It cannot work properly unless it is submerged only to the depth of the blue line, it has to breathe on the outflow.
