wavebox issues

for the last few months i have noticed that the wave is not nearly as big as it used to be. I tried taking apart and cleaning the pump and it didn't seem to help. Also recently the wavebox stops working every day. When i unplug the power supply and replug it in it starts back up. any ideas on why either of these things could be happening?

ok i feel really dumb. the small wave was because i had the suction housing on backwards. We'll see if that fixes the other problem in the next few days

The wave not as big because you may accidentally bump it or someone else playing with it. The box stop working either your feed mode was activated by someone or its got stuck. Make sure the blue sponge are not cover the intake screen... It is a sound damper not prefilter..

The problem with the wave size is fixed. The wavebox doesnt just stop working suddenly, it doesn't turn back on in the morning when the lights go out. The box turns off when the lights go out, then never turns back on in the morning. i'm probably just going to unplug the photosensor and plug the box into a timer, but any other suggestions as to why this might happen?

The pump could be jammed with some fine sand or calcium build up on the upper bearing and struggle to start as a result, the photocell could be in a darker area or covered in salt creep, or, the socket/plug may not be fully connected or corroded.

Check that the photosensor pins are straight and the plug is seated correctly. In my Nano Wavebox experience, the pins are easily bent. One of the pins could be bent out of place but the plug could still feel like it's seating in the controller.
