Wavebox making strange sound

I took my wavebox out/apart for a routine cleaning and upon reassembling it now makes a "click" sound as it pushes out the water.

I did check the impeller, o-ring, foam ring, and brackets and it is definitely coming from inside the pump itself. It is working just really noisy.

Anybody had this or have suggestions? I love my wavebox but have had to unplug it.

Thanks.
Andy

The noise would typically come from the drive unit dragging on the bearing bush. If you pried this part out and reinserted it 180 off from how it ran for a year or so, the parts likely wore so that now they are mismatched. Do you have the older 6100.60 drive unit or the new 6200.70 drive unit? Is the shaft black and molded to the magnet or white and attached with brake shoes?

Roger,
While I don't know exactly what you are referring to, the magnet is black and molded and the "casing" it rests in is white. It is a 6200 drive unit and was purchased new in Sept/Oct time frame so I don't know if it has run long enough to have worn anything in.
Please let me know what I might do. Thanks

Andrew

OK, in that case, I think the bearing bush 3000.62 in your manual, is not fully inserted, either that or the upper bearing oring- part 3300.612 is missing or in the wrong place.
