Wavebox not for some tanks?

Hi!

I just bought a wavebox. My tank is 95 cm long and 60 cm deep and wide. I just get about 1 cm wave. Is it perhaps better to use the streamer alone without the box. Is that streamer suitable for use with 7095.

In the manual there were examples of tanks 70 cm long with 3,5 cm waves.

Many thanks /Patrik

You might try different frequencies, I think a 2-3cm wave should be possible. Turn the knob very slowly and make sure the wavebox has an unobstructed shot at the far side of the tank.

I have tried to dial in the frequency for hours. The longest period gives a wave that is perhaps 1.5 cm if you measure from highest point to lowest. It's some sort of doublewave. The type of single wave shown in the manual is obtained when the controller is set to shortest period. Then I get about 1 cm wave. The distance between the rocks and the back glass wall is 10-20 cm. The box shoots in this canyon which is the longest side.

Are you sure the foam does not cover the pump inlet and the screws in the holes in the back are installed? If this is not done correct it can reduce the height. The pump in the wavebox could be used as a Stream but you must buy the smaller drive unit 6100.70. It is a 6200.70 now but with only the 6100 transformer. If it runs for a long time continuous the transformer will be destroyed, it is meant only for off and on use.
