wavebox on 36x36x24?

will a wavebox work on a tank with those dimensions? i was REALLY hoping to use a wavebox. if not, what will be a good substitute?

It will work but not well enough to justify the expense in my experience. The wave will be very short and very fast.

I don't know of any way, you might try a more traditional surge device but the tank is short so creating a decent wave by resonance is just not feasible.

The Aquasurf is not a Tunze product so we are not familar with it. Try a search on the Reefcentral forum I am sure you will come up with useful feed back.
