Hi, I was wondering about the optimal position for a wavebox on a 72''L, 30"W, 24"H starfire tank and had some questions. It will have an external overflow. The tank has not been built yet so we can still change some specifications.
Where is the best place to put the overflow to avoid noise and fluctuations from the wave?
How much extra tank height above the water level do I need to run the wavebox comfortably without splashing on the highest wave setting?
Where is the best spot to put the wavebox?
Does the wavebox have to be mounted with a magnet on the other side of the glass? This may be a problem because the side panels will be against a wall.
The wavebox is rated for up to 300 gallons. Will I get a powerful wave on this tank with a 30'' width or do I need an extension?
Does the wavebox affect the structural integrity of the tank? If so should I look at thicker glass or what?
Thanks, I know there's a lot of questions
