Wavebox orientation

Hello,

Currently have a 6100 stream and love it. Looking to buy a wavebox.

1. Does the orientation of the wavebox matter? (i.e. can it point to the width or the length of the tank?)

2. I have a 180 gallon tank, acrylic that was made in 1986. It was professionally done. Should I need to worry about a wave box stressing the seems on a tank like this?

Cheers,
Jason

It needs to blow down the length of the tank- so aimed down the 6ft. It should be fine, acrylic should essentially be one piece if it was done properly, Acrylic does degrade in time from UV and sometimes if not really done 100% they make one piece bigger on one end and their is a torque in the material but this is the only things that could jeopardize the integrity.
