Wavebox Orientation

Hey Roger-

I plan on getting 2 waveboxes on a controller when they are available again. My question is about the placement of the waveboxes versus the direction of the wave...

My tank is 82" x 45" x 28" with 2 overflows on the back wall (pictured in Gray). I was planning on placing the Waveboxes (pictured in Blue) just outside of the overflows.

I assume that if the waveboxes are synchronized that the wave will travel front to back.

If I can get the waveboxes to run in an alternating fashion, will I get a wave that travels left to right even though the outlets are facing foreward?

This may not work, they really should face the length of the tank, you can have one on each end and use the inverse function or both on the same side and use the synchronous function. On a tank that wide they would have to be nearly centered on the ends of the tank. I would preorder because it could be a year or more before waveboxes are stock items.
