Wavebox orientation

I have a 225 - 6x2 floorplan. Would the 6212 need to be pointed down the length of the tank?

I'd like to put it on the back wall but cannot point it lengthwise because i have to large vertical oveflows.

Could the same wave action be achieved by pointing it towards the front glass from a back corner? Or is my only option of have more forward to clear the overflows?

J, due to the width of your tank that is not possible without a big lump of water at the top front and missing sand spot at the bottom. If your tank is 30" or greater it will be possible. You will need to point it across the length or else it will be hard to dial in or get it to work properly...

Steve is correct, to properly tune a wave with the 6212, it needs to be aimed down the tanks length.
