wavebox overkill?

Would a Wavebox be too roguh on the corals in a 48x18x16 tank? Would it even work well on a tank that size?

Are two 6100s and a controller a better option?

The wavebox is probably the least rough flow option there is. You won't get a very big wave and may need more flow depending on your return pump and other flow. I would definitely not get 2 6100's. 6000's at most. What type of corals and sand do you have?

I'd be doing a BB tank geared towards propating SPS. Looks are not very important. I'll be sure to do something to help blow deitrius around to the overflow.

I would say the ideal would be a wavebox and 1 6000 or 6060.
