WaveBox Owners manual question

Roger,
the manual says use interval mode if using the WB with a stream and a multicontroller but doesnt specify interval 1 or interval 2, would u clarify it for me.

Interval 1, all it does is alternate wavebox/ stream. One is off while the other is on.

thanks, but do have a question about night use when using interval 1...It will still produce waves at night like day use, but my stream will be blowing at lowest output setting when it comes on, correct or is the wavemaker supposed to stop making waves when the lights go out when using the photocell?

In Interval 1 only the item on channel one runs at night.

oh, ok...i better ck it again, cause i could have sworn the wavemaker was going last night. I set the jumper to ext and hooked the master to the driver and slave to the multicontroller...that is correct isnt it?

Yes. I have not done this personally, I never saw a reason to use this feature as I don't want the wavebox off. I think with the wavebox you may need to use it's included photocell as well. If the wavebox turns off in the intervals and the night mode feature is on and the wavebox is connected to channel 2, then it is correct and you just need to add the photocell to the wavebox controller.

I run my wavebox 24/7. On my 120 the wave is only about 3/4" so it is not enough to warrant shutting it off to calm the tank.
