wavebox problems

I have a 3 month old wavebox. It will only run on slave and not master. The water will only move about a 1/4" in the box. I have had two people that have waveboxes try to dial it in but to no avail. What's up with this?

Does the pump run properly when not attached to the controller?

What size tank is it on, where is it positioned, how is your rock laid out? Any photos you could provide would help. Also, as Shawnz said, it is possible the pump has a technical problem and isn't working right or the power has been turned down on the potentiometer or transformer.
