Wavebox Question Rvitko

Not sure if this has been answered. I have a 135 Gallon tank, although the dimensions are a bit odd.

The tank is 43L x 30T x 24W

Is it possible to have a wavebox for this setup? Have been given conflicting answers.

Thanks

Chris

You could use a wavebox but the wave won't be particularly large and you will need more flow than just the wavebox. Where is the overflow positioned?

The overflow is positioned in the back right corner of the tank. It has a 1" drain and 3/4 return. Currently I have two 6060's in the tank in the front left corner and back right , in front of the overflow. My returns are a Rio 26HF and 14HF.

With that corner overflow and the short length you will likely only get a 3/4" wave. It is your call if it is worth it or not. It will give a nice effect and increase polyp extension but likely not do a whole lot for detritus removal.
