Wavebox questions

Are there any disavantages of running wavebox 24x7? I can't seem to reach tank with light sensor. Or can i just use a timer to shut it down at night.. Any plans of wave box haveing a gentle mode?

I prefer to run it 24/7. At this time there are no plans to change the controller.
