Wavebox w/ closed loop questons

I'm building an acrylic 96x30x27 with an external overflow that will be centered at 60x6x10.
I just bought and set up on my 125, the wavebox I'll put in the new tank.
I'm planning to use a closed loop pushed by an OM8 and hammerhead.
My concerns are the CL and long overflow dampening the wave action. Please give me your thoughts.
