Wavebox wave too high

I have a wavebox that I just setup last night on my 75g SPS tank. I am getting a wave about 2 inches high (Peak to trough). If I adjust it down just a little it almost disappears. It is also a bit loud. I have the module set to full power. Can I turn this down some to reduce the height of the wave some?

Thanks
Ray

You have to do is slow, move the control back to the begining, move it little by little, I really mean little. Once you pass the sweet spot, the wave will stop. I got my at 11 o'clock to get the wave, once I pass that there is no wave at all.

There should be noise like "click" " click" from the pump. You will get noise from the wave if it's too hight and from the overflow.

that is weird, my is about 1" - 1.5" and I can't get any higher, I have a 180 gal tank with center overflow.

Rip Current- where is dial control set at ?

My tank is 94x32x30 there is a 10 1/2"x 6 1/2" overflow tower on the right side which I sealed off.
Then I added a center external overflow about 34" wide. which droped the water level in the tank 2 1/2 inches.
The wavebox is on the overflow tower side of the the tank.
I guess since the wavebox is pushing toward the end of the tank with the most volume, then it bouces back to the tower side that has less volume, giving me a bigger wave (too big)

The bigger the tank the bigger the wave in general. To reduce wave height you tune the driver, not the controller. Turn down the potentiometer using a small screwdriver. On a tank over 7ft a half height double wave is possible.
