wavebox with overflow

Hi Roger,

I have a 220 with an overflow that runs the entire tank length. The overflow routes water to a closed loop and the sump. Will the wavebox work with the tank configured this way? My plan is for a wavebox and two 6100 streams in addition to about 1000 gph from the closed loop. Thanks in advance

I think it would work fine provided the water level is at least 1.5" from the edge of the tank but I would question the need for the closed loop. With only 1000 gph it will not add much and the cost of running the pump is high compared to a powerhead.
