Wavebox with overflowbox 1074

I have a 420L tank whit a 1074 overflowbox on one of the short sides.

I have wanted a wavebox for some while now and I have woundered how to get it to work in my tank.

I know that the best way is to have the overflowbox in the middle of the tank but what if the tank is already up and running.

Is it still possible to have a working wavebox in my tank, or will it not work ok?

It will work but you must watch it carefully and keep the wave short so the overflow does not run empty, it is not perfect but it can work. How long is the aquarium?

It´s a 420L-tank wich means 150x50x56cm.

I would expect the wave to be about 3-4cm high.
