I'm thinking of using a wavebox on a 90G Oceanic Aquarium? Are the waveboxes effective on a 48"X18"X24" (LXWXH) aquarium? I currently have 2 turbelle streams in the aquarium.
Is there a larger unit for than the Tunze 6212? Currently the 6212 states that it is for aquariums 52 to 317 gal. Are you saying that the 6212 is too small for a 90G?
I was wondering what the settings should be on the controller of single 6000 stream when sitting next to the wavebox? In the diagram it shows it angled to the back but what is the depth?
I was think of setting just on 100% until night time and since the wavebox is closer the bottom the 6000 would go in the near the top but with the supposed wide flow I dunno? Maybe just adjust down slowly till there is a slight agitation at the water surface?
It is really just personal preference and trial and error, it is best to have the Stream on the same side of the wavebox for max wave height. it is also best to have the Stream nearer the surface.
