Wavebox

Hi Roger, I have decided to go completely CL free on my new tank. Mostly due to heat, power consumptions, fear of plumbing leaks, and a pure hatred of salt creep, cleaning pvc and plumbing. I currently have two 6200's and one 6100. I have a new MC on order (as well as a few magnets).

I really have tried to figure out the wavebox but my brain is full. So a couple stupid questions -

? Do I need a controller for the Wavebox? If so, can I use the 4th outlet of the new controller?

? How does the wavebox work with an overflow? Does it mess much with the overflow? I had some interesting affects when I had a Stream pointed towards the overflow box of my 150.

? Are the use of the 3 Streams and the Wavebox compatible, and would you recommend them? The tank is approx 74Lx36Wx26H.

The wavebox includes a controller which can be connected to the multicontroller to add foodtimer, interval features and night mode.

Overflow boxes dampen the surface wave but otherwise have little effect.

It is compatible but it doesn't work to well to run the Stream opposite a wavebox so you will use Interval mode so that the wavebox and any pumps on the same side are running and then the other side is running without the wavebox. 6hr intervals are perfect.

Thanks for the info. Do you think the Wavebox would be overkill, or would I be ok with the 3 Streams? The only other flow will be the sump return, which will be nothing fancy (opted against and oceansmotions for now) - maybe a 1" SCWD when they're available.
