Steve McIlroy.. he got "Mac" as a username here on RC before I did, hence the inclusion of the "Reefer" prefix. I guess we both had the same nick-names growing up in HS, go figure. I just talked w/ Chucker last night. Bastid's got playoff tickets.
Sorry to hear Craig took the tank down, I always liked talking w/ him.

Anyone heard from Allen lately? I tried calling him around the holidays, and we got to chat for 30-seconds, before Giddeon was bashing something over his sister's head...
Any Buffalonians still talk to Pat and Bob? They used to be very active (I thought I saw Pat post a month or so ago?)

Pat and Bob are still in the hobby (as far as I know).
I hear Stoli has been very busy and is rarely sighted or talked to about reef related stuff.
I see MAC post once in a great while- more so on RDO than RC.
I haven't heard the name "Chucker" in quite a long time-
and the last time I heard it was in conjunction with "Sabres".
Some things don't change.

Greetings. I am on here every once in a while. Its nice to see familar names making posts, kind of lets you "keep in touch".
Remember the early days, 6 of us. If I remember correctly, Dave, Jamie, Kevin, Kevin, Craig and I. We would get together at your apartment Kevin, Jamies place, Daves, etc......That must have been 5 years ago now.
My tank is still going strong, kind of lost its flair with everything going on in life, children, other sports adn hobbies, etc....but still going strong to date.
I don't make posts on other boards so another "Mac" is not me. Kev, we ought to get the origional 6 pack together some night for the hell of it, I would love to see your tank.
I still talk to Jamie every once in a while.

It must have been more than 5 years ago, Mac. I originally logged onto RC at Playfair's suggestion (back in '91), so you eastside guys were getting together before then.
I have records indicating that I sold Jamie some Acropora frags back in March of 2000 and I know Playfair got Acro frags from me before zmann did.

I can't believe I made the top 25 list, I guess it's a good thing I'm moving back, unfortunately you guy's will be hearing alot more from me. I'm moving my 120 LPS tank back with a ton of help from good old RondyO, and I'll be setting up a little 24 Nano in my office (if I get a job where they'll let me) or just put it in the bedroom. It's good to see that a few core people are still going strong, I'd like to think I'll be in this hobby forever and my goal is to break some longevity records. I've already got a pair of clownfish that I've had for 7yrs, been moved to 3 different apartments from Buffalo to Charlotte and back and are still going strong. I may not have the best tank butI'd really like to see if I can keep 1 tank going with the same basic structure and animals for like 20yrs, now you don't hear of people doing that too often. Dave

My recollection is I generated this list as a test of a screen scraping program I was working on... I don't remember what criteria I applied to culling out "non-member" posts.

Clueless is still around that's me (Good memory Gary) in the begining I was literallly clueless as how to run a tank hence the name. Meeting these guys way back helped me so much. I still have a tank just nothing as grand as before, but life is busy with kids and all so I don't post too often. Has anyone seen Carl? I always liked him, I know Mark said he took his tank down. I remember going to my first meeting where I could count the # of people on one hand. it's amazing how much this board has changed in the past couple of years. Hopefully now that I am done with school I hope to have more time to meet some of the new faces.

No kidding Gary I saw names that I have not seen or heard of in years. I can't believe I made the top 25. it's amazing the way time has gone by I really miss my old tank but oh well my new one is doing real good. The frags I got from you are doing well and I picked some up form mark. Pretty soon I will have thing looking just as good as it looked before.
