Carl bought the black sun coral I think it passed away, the jawfish were murdered by an ex best friends bipolar manic and half a dozen other things plus obease BCH.... in a tank bleaching as in chlorox (was enought chlorine in the tank to keep a pool healthy and todds torch would be nice..... I miss the old crew of URS...... I have lots of stores to visit but the 3 mainstays up north are still very nice

Hi, all. This was timely for me, having just popped onto this forum for the first time in ages (months or years, not sure). I second Mac's comments - the tank is still going, but has taken a backseat to other things in life for a while. I had no idea I was 32nd on the list!
I'm happy to see the group's still active. Lots of nice people, last time I checked in!

I attended my first reef meeting at Playfair's in May 2001 with Keith M. I had to check Playfair's website to get the time straight. There were 7 people there. I can't remember exactly, but I think it was Dave, myself, Keith, Craig, Todd W., Chucker, and ReefMac, but not sure.
According to Playfair's site, the next meeting was at Gary M's house in September 2001. I was at that one too. I met Bytor, and a few others. That meeting a little over 12 people.
I can't remember when I was at Todd W's apartment for a meet, but it was probably around the 2001-2002 mark.
Mark Klier's meeting was the first official meeting I've missed since Playfair's meet in 2001. I'm kinda bummed I missed it too.

Great picture Gary. You should know everyone there. They were at your house for goodness sakes.
That is Kevin Colagio, kcolagio. Another lost Buffalo reefer. Haven't seen him in a long time.

He's definatly a Buffalo reefer. I was at his house. He had a Perfecto 220 gallon shark tank break in his living room. He was trying to get Perfecto to pay for the damages to his house. I think they gave him a new tank, but not sure about the damages. He also had a 125 reef tank that was covered with Manjo anemones.
Needless to say, I don't think he's in the hobby anymore. I know Keith M. will know who he is.

You can use this pic for reference. Just place the mouse over the face of the person you want to Identify. If the arrow turns to a hand, that person has a website you can click on.

(Sorry. I know a lot of fish geeks and they aren't nearly as obsessed as REEF geeks.)
I got rid of the canopy when I discovered the PFO cable kit.
The tweeking never ends for a reef geek.
