Ways to introduce Ich to your tank

I have a silly question for you experts....
If my fish died of Ich in my QT tank, what's the best way to disinfect the QT tank afterwards? Just rinse everything with tap water is enough? Or do you need to soak the tank in tap water for a few nights? Add any medicine?

if it were me bleach and water and a few good rinsings and then let dry .

Let you QT dry out. No fish, no water, no life. Then you can take a filter pad from other CLEAN tank.
