First, Just joined the club and went to meeting last week. Really appreciate everyone's welcome.
I am new to Saltwater but not to fishkeeping, and have been studying and asking questions for a long time before I "crawled into the Saltwater". and I love it.
Here is why I would like to say how very "LUCKY" and Blessed!
to have the knowledge and resources that we have to help with this experience. The internet resources, club members and the "wonderful choices in Local Fish Stores" that we have.
Many areas are really starved for this and for us to have the different stores in our area that we have is a wonderful thing, and we really need to support ALL of them. The more choices the better the selection, the better the quality, and the better the price. If we were to lose any of these selections, we lose.
Each of these stores has a something to offer, I have been in them all and have found different choices in each of them.
We have no monopoly in the aquarium business in our area, and never will. Yes I do feel we should support the people who support the club, But at the same time is not the best interest of the club the overall health of the "hobby", and in the long run we "ride together", if the club was to support ALL of the stores in this area selling saltwater supplies then we would ALL benefit in the long run.
Everyone has diferen opinions,and like my Daddy used to say they are all like "@!&5" holes and belly buttons they all StinK.
But "think" about how really "LUCKY" that we are.
