I have a bright green one and have had good luck with it, I make my own coral food and feed it with turkey baster a couple times a week. I have had it almost a year and still looks great and seems healthy.
and you talk about me...duh
you know the trials and tribulations I had with mine and it was absolutely beautiful for about 2months...brown jelly started...treated and saved 1/2 of it for bout another month then all at once..brn jelly again and this time it just took the whole thing in less than 2 days
watch it very closely for brn jelly and treat it fast and you need to watch for anything bothering it.... brown jelly is believed to be an infection that happens when it gets injurd in some way and bacteria enter the tissue...it has very delicate tissue...better yet do some research on the brn jelly and possible causes and also you need to search proper feeding ....
you'll be shocked at what they suggest on feeding verses what you where told at the LFS...it needs more than oyster eggs added to the tank a couple of times a week.....correct me if I'm wrong chefmur....
Good Luck with it tho...maybe it'll get as big as the Alvie has gotten

Was the meteor shower frag the small one he's had for a while, or did he cut the colony? And how much (if that's not too rude). You can PM me back if you want.
