We lost some valuable info

Since Proline is not here anymore how can we get all that important info what other guys post it..
There was some good info how to set up dosing pumps, dimmable ballasts and just basic set up in general..
Anyone knows how to archive this info?

Both matthias and are working hard to build a database of FAQ, this will take time but with my input and driving this project mainly, the details will be far greater.

Please list all topics you would want info on and we can start on this very soon.

of course user input is always the most valuable so if anyone wishes to write any set up reviews or "how to's i am sure everyone would benefit.

I like to think of ProfiLux's users as a community all helping each other learn as this great controller builds on its functionality, and with the input from this community everyone benefits.

I think basic info is most necessary for new users.
Literally holding their hand telling them to plug this part into this part would be nice.

Plug 6 outlet powerbar into S1
Plug 4 outlet powerbar in S5
Plug additional 6 outlet powerbars or dosing pumps into first 6 outlet powerbar daisy chaining them together.

When installing ProfiLux control, Weiter means Next. Just click Weiter all the way through. At the end, click SchlieBen to finish.

In Profilux control when you bring it up the first time go to the top of the screen and click Extras>Programmesprache einstellen, choose English and then click OK. Then click OK once again and finally close the program by clicking Beenden. When you restart it should be in English.

In profilux control, start socket numbering with 1-4 being dosing pumps.
Set digital powerbar numbering at 5 if you have no 4 outlet powerbar or at 9 if you do have a 4 outlet powerbar. Programming can be done at the Profilux itself or in Profilux control @ Extras / Socket Functions

On the powerbars themselves, the lowest numbered socket is closest to the LEDs.

6 line phone cables can be used for longer extensions of current pumps or LED lights.

Right Angle Wave Short provides good wavemaking abilities.

The LED sunrise/moonlights require no power supply, they run off of power from the Profilux device itself.

Neither the dosing pumps or controllable powerheads(Tunze 6055, 6101, 6201) need to be plugged in to a controllable outlet. They can be plugged into any outlet that is always on.

No, the temperatures cannot be input in F, they must be input in C. That said, at in Profilux control at Probe/Sensor Controls > Temperature 1 you can choose to make the Display of the Profilux itself show you the temperature in C or F.

I'm sure there are many other things that need help, but these are the questions I've been asked most often.

Mike, a new start is always a chance to make things better the second time.
