Please post some content that will be appropriate for our web site. I have been working with Chris to get our website posted but we still need more "stuff".

We need information for the News Page. If you have anything..post it here.

We also need web links that you would like to have saved on our website.

Post all you favorites here also. Hopefully we will be able to categorize them so we can find the easier.

I think that we should have the new site posted shortly, so all the help we can get is much appreciated!

What do you have already for links...it is hard to give a list or suggest without knowing how detailed you want to get. Do you want links to specific how-to's, or just to the main sites?

This has got a lot of nice links:

A How-To section would be nice.
Instructions on how to do things like drill holes in glass etc.

I think the point he's trying to make is: We have ideas like showing members tanks, and having a DIY section, but we need people to send the pictures, links, articles, whatever it might be to Chris so he can get them on the website.

Here's his email chris@publicpersuasions.com

Great point. I already have created a members page that has member information and pictures of people's tanks that I have received. I have, however, only received 4 or 5 pictures. I am also posting a fish store list this evening. I have a links page, but it only has 3 links on it as I placed them there for sample purpose only. The news page only has the meeting minutes from the last meeting. I can place how-tos and DIY's in the news page, but would like for people to submit ideas.

I will be posting a 'final' version of the website to the current www.greateriowareefsociety.com url this weekend. Most likely Sunday morning. So, please send any and all contributions to chris@publicpersuasions.com no matter how good, bad or indifferent you may feel them to be.

Once the site has been posted, please send me feedback about what you like and dislike and we can work together on a page the club can be proud of.

Thanks!

Chris

This may be getting to detailed but this is stuff that I consider that no reef keeper should be without:

Hydrometer:

Salifert Test Kits...Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate. Eventually you will need Calcium, alkalinity and Phosphate.:

PH Monitor:

RO/DI unit: This is a sweet deal! Make sure you tell him you saw it on Reef Central and a friend that bought one said that he got a free TDS meter with his.

Glass Cleaner:

Temp:

These are really nice to have around in case of an emergency:

Hi Gang -

sorry, but had family obligations yesterday which took me away from publishing the new website. I will be completing this tonight, so you will have a new website to look at tomorrow.

Thanks for all the input so far!

Chris

Chris. I forgot....but we need a sponsors page too. All the ones on the old site are still current I believe and we will have a lot of others here shortly. I will get them to you when we do!
