ORDER #A2595400

I checked my tracking number and it's still not in my state yet still in Indiana. I called Fedex and they told me it will be delivered by 3PM.. they mentioned of weather delay in Memphis? Normally by this time it should be on the truck for delivery..

StrategicReef,

We apologize for the delay in the shipment of your order. After contacting FedEx we have found that your shipment has been delayed due to weather conditions in Indianapolis. We ask that you accept delivery tomorrow and double the acclimation time of your specimens according to the acclimation guide included with your order. If there are any problems with your order please contact us right away so we may better assist you in resolving the problem.

Thanks for the update..
I am worried mostly about the 1 fish! Is there a way to pick it up tomorrow first thing in the morning at the local fedex facility (Plesanton, CA)

in my honest opinion, i don't think doubling the acclimation time is a good idea, especially if the water they have been in is fouled/low oxygen from long term transport.

EZ you are right, I usually drain the majority of water and focus diluting it.

So I got the package today (1 day late) The wrasse inside, the only fish was kind of stressed lying on the bottom but towards to end it gained back alot of life.

Although the heat pack was still warm, I am guessing the water is at around 60 degrees.. but it's not too big of a deal. I have had great success by heating up the room temperature to 79 and dripping at the same time, and removing water gradually with a turkey baster. I release the fish when salinty match and the fish looks more revived, it was swimming around in the bag after 1 hour. It's already a day late what's about 30 minutes more :/
I hope the fish will be ok at this point..

Corals are fine, honestly I don't acclimate SPS, only let them slime for a few minutes then I put them in. Polyp extension within 15 minutes.

We owe this to LA's great shipping and packaging.. some other vendors with shirt pocket sized bag and 1/2 cup of water the frags likely will lose tissue and die.
