Webcam Setup

After reading a webcam thread just like two days ago, I got mine setup. Its only pointing to the top area of the tank right now, but its working great.

You have to choose Java or ActiveX on the left.

Yeah, its kinda cool. I just used no-ip.com to get the free redirect to my ip, so I don't have to buy a domain. Plus, its running on port 81, since they probably block 80 from outside.

Curious how much bandwidth it eats up with people connected? Really nice though.

I don't know really. Insight gives you like 10MB for only 30 dollars/month, so I'm not too worried about it.

I should do it at work on our 10MB dedicated fiber connection. haha

I used program called yawcam. Very simple program that gives you a java applet in w web browser. It killed my upload though. I also host a game server at my house so people were lagging out bad. So I killed the cam. Just looking for alternative ways to view from work.
