A website "Ricordeas.net" is offering a dive package that includes collection of your own Ricordea to take home. Just wondering if there is a limit in key west as to how many , size, etc. Anyone have a clue? Thanks.

I took a look at the links just below your post and still have no idea.

That said, if it says you can collect your own Ricordea, it probably means 1. My guess is if it were more than one it would have some sort of plural form like Ricordeae.

Don't forget to iodine dip it and QT it!!

^ Something like that would be sweet to do but wonder what the survival rate of fish from the ocean are. If I ever did something like that then I would have them in a qt tank for a long time.

Seriously?? Man.. I'm going to Florida in a month... I might have to make a stop.

Eek... I was all for it when I thought that it'd be a couple hundred bucks to go out on this trip. $2k? Pass - no ricordia is worth that. Even if I do have the experience of collecting it myself.

I dont QT anything I get fresh from the sea, it's only the stuff from stores that I worry about. I have had no problems so far.

This thread was started back in 2006 (yes, 18 years ago) and that website is not longer around.
