Website update

Well I added some of the sponsors to the website, and I'm am still waiting to hear back from a couple more of them. Today a received a couple of items for door prizes or raffles at our first meeting. I still don't know exactly when it will be. However, Gary at the Autobarn in Plattsburgh has agreed to host it. Gary has a beautiful in-wall 220 gal mixed reef. It is really quite a site. Once the details are ironed out on when the first meeting will be, I'll post them.

All-Glass aquariums is sending me a MiniBow 5 complete with light and filter, as a gift to our club. It would make a great nano tank. I was thinking about taking a couple of the items I have received and making a bit of a gift basket and selling raffle tickets for it. Something like $1 each or an arms length for $5. Any money raised would go right back into the club, in the form of snacks and soda for meetings, or to purchase future raffle items. Also to pay for any future club expenses.

Donated items so far: food, grounding probes (x2), a $25 gift certificate to DrsFosterSmith.com, and the MiniBow 5.

The other option is just do a no cost door prize, anyone attending the meeting is elidgible, say one or two items at each meeting until gone. Then if we want snacks or drinks at the meetings we just do it pot luck style. Well anyway, let me know what you think, I am also open to suggestions.

The MiniBow came in today, it's the red one. Looks great!
