Lots of water, big numbers needed.
Weedies are a quite nice tank pet, reasonably hardy, and should be on frozen mysids, if not, easily trained.
You seriously need big water for a comfortable home for them, and to grow and have a good life.
I dont know how many a few is, 3, ok, good for a tank of say, 8-10' (more is better) by 4 x 4'
Id say your talking minimum. They will get very big, and need more space than that.
Get a good heavy duty UV, rated at at least double the tank volume, a skimmer that is a serious piece of work, no toy, and an external canister filter, all hooked up to a heat pump, set at 16°c.
I would even consider some insurance, get an 03 generator, and control your tank with an ORP meter, have it computer controlled, and if needed, the computer can turn on the 03 and inject it via the skimmer. Would require a sump for excess 03 blow off if you do this.
You need to control cilliates, so before putting them into the tank, fill with water, decorate as you wish, then run it looking for dead spots, as this is the breeding, settling ground for cilliates.
IMO you will need to clean the tank regularly, at least weekly, paying particular attention to zones there is limited flow, which they need for rest.
They can handle flow, and surge, but really need shelter for rest.
A cave would be a bonus, hard to look after and clean, but a lovely stay quiet zone for them.
Lots of weed, macros, or plants, and they will love it, color is good.
I feel that bright lights are a nono, they live is deep water, no red color down there, nor brilliance, its a soft gentle light they live in.
