Here's a picture of the progress at week 7 of my BC32. Still have stock filtration, but did make the jump on the lighting and got Steve's LED's retrofit kit (14k) and am very happy so far (still acclimating the corals and am at only 35%). This is an expensive *** hobby, but I love it!! :)

Does it pick at any corals that you may have such that zoa just below the xenia?

I've had him about 5 weeks and haven't had any issues. I just make sure he's well fed and I also keep a sheet of seaweed in there as well

Uh oh... Did you attempt and not have as good of luck!?

Had 1 for 2 weeks and decide to decimate 6 different species of my zoas, including my 2 all time favorite
zoanthid name....miami hurricane, and fire and ice....the fire and ice costed me $70!!!

Definitely watch out for your flame angel from time to time cause you never know when it will go rogue on you and start a coup det'at and start to munch on your colony. Hate for that to happen to anyone....

Great question! Although simple, I still want to pick up a nice candy cane piece as well as a nice acan. I DO want to try some sps as well, just not sure which at this point... I'm open to advice and/or your opinion!

Do you think this is a zoanthid or paly? Don't really know the difference

I'm leaning towards Zoa... But only because I read that the palys have a longer stem (I don't even know if that's true or not though). Looks great though! Can I see a full pic of your tank?

I've heard that montipora would be a great start at sps...though they have to be on their own island and away from glass, or back wall of tanks due to their encrusting behavior. I've tried it but saw little results due to the fact that i didn't do my research first before purchase, essentially it died from lack of care.

Any issues with your flame angel nipping at your coral? How often do you feed it? I am looking at buying one and maybe even a lemonpeel. But I am worried about all the corals in my tank.

Haven't had any issues *knocks on wood*. I feed him daily (brine, mysis, and pellets) and also put seaweed in the tank every other day or so for him. He's well fed and my tank is now completely stocked with corals that he doesn't touch :) I wanted to get a second dwarf (a coral beauty) but was strongly advised against not doing so. Here's an updated pic so you can see what corals I have that haven't been an issue.
