Weight of Empty Tank 150 Gallon

I am going to be purchasing a 150 Gallon RR tank. The tank is about 6 years old and is made by AGA. I am told that the glass is 1/4" glass. I am going to be setting this up in an upstairs room and I have already looked at my joists etc. My question is what is the weight of this thing dry without anything in it. The dimensions are 48x24x30. I am finding different information out on the net and I have even called AGA and they do not know what the weight of the tank is because of its age. Is there a calculation that I can do to give me an approximate weight? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I know 8 square feet of 1/2 weighs appx 50lbs

so each pane should way about 25 plus the base... I would put it around 140-150 lbs

1/4 inch for a 150 is a little too thing isn't it? Most companies use 3/8 to 1/2 inch now.

I kinda thought that too.. I spoke with the seller and he states that it is 1/4 glass. He did say the tank is about 6 years old so it may be that they used thinner glass back then? This is really confusing to say the least...

I did check that out already, but they do not have the right dimensions on their website of 48x24x30. I can't ask the person to weigh it because it is in use. Since this is going to a second floor and I have limited help if it weighs 300lbs that will be a major problem for me.
